Dear Church Family,
Grace and peace be unto you!
Connections matter. One of our sacred books – The Bible reminds us that Jesus prayed “the glory that you (God) have given me I have given them, so that they may be one, as we are one” (John 17:22). Another of our sacred books – our hymnal puts these words on our lips “Blessed be the tie that binds our hearts in Christian love; the sharing of a common life is like to that above.” (NCH 393). Through both, we are reminded not only that togetherness matters, but that the connection we seek is enabled by God’s grace and points us to the depth of connection we see even in the Trinity itself.
