You are invited to participate in a six-week conversation on Christian spirituality and what it means to love God and neighbor. This group will read and discuss chapters from Waiting for God by Simone Weil, a Christian mystic and political activist. We will focus on such topics as spirituality and mysticism, suffering, love, justice, beauty, and creation. It is our hope that this can be a reflective space in which we can have intimate conversations about the struggles and joys of being Christian.
The class begins Monday, January 12th at 7PM. Please sign up ASAP so that we can order books.
