On January 4^th we will baptize the newest member of our church family, eight week old John Robert. In the tradition of the United Church of Christ, baptism is an act of covenant and calling. During worship we will dedicate John to God, make promises to care for him and teach him, and pledge our support to his parents Martha and Chris to journey with them as they raise him to respond to God’s call upon his life.
Baptism is among the most important things we do as a church. Don’t miss it!
