The Simon’s Rock Chorus will help lead the music in worship on Sunday, November 17th, our Long-Time Member Sunday.  The 25-voice chorus under the direction of Jack Brown will sing a number of gospel and spiritual selections that they have been preparing for their fall concert in honor of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington.
In recent years, the chorus has made a point of singing out in the wider community. This past spring they presented a well-received program of Jewish music at Hevreh in Great Barrington. The chorus is made up of students at Bard College at Simon’s Rock in Great Barrington.
