The People’s Pantry in Great Barrington needs volunteers through the duration of the the COVID-19 pandemic. Volunteering involves moving produce, meat in coolers, milk and prefilled grocery bags outside onto tables under a tent. Volunteers are needed for three slots each week: Monday 4-6:30 pm; Thursday 8:30-11 am; Thursday 11 am-1:30 pm. College and high school students are encouraged to consider volunteering. Please do not volunteer if you are in a high-risk group or may expose someone who is high risk.
