Given allergies present among children within our community, the Church Council unanimously approved the reinstatement of the church as a “Nut-Free Zone.” Both internal and external groups that use the church are advised that no foods containing peanuts or tree nuts are allowed within the church. Is is also requested when purchasing food for consumption within the church or at church events that people check labels for possible cross-contamination of food manufactured on equipment or in facilities used to process peanuts or tree nuts.
Council also wanted to remind the community that we remain a latex-free church given allergies among members. Both internal and external groups are advised that items containing latex are not allowed within the church.
