The new season of Music on Main is starting and the first concert features a vocal performance by Jack Brown, Marjorie Dix and Andrea Bargabos accompanied by Jean Stackhouse on piano and Catherine Shane-Lydon on organ.
On Saturday, Sept. 23 at 4 pm, Jack, Marjorie and Andrea will share their voices in solo and ensemble pieces in a vocal program spanning early sacred music, plus American spirituals and hymns. There will be a little Bernstein, selections from Buxtehude, Rossini, Humperdinck, and Bernstein, among others.
This concert is open to the public. Suggested donation is $20 / $15 for seniors and students / children free. All funds raised benefit the Music Ministries of this church.
