The United Church of Christ (UCC) is continuing to organize and support volunteer work crews to repair private homes in New Jersey that were severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy in November 2012. We have the opportunity to join with another UCC group on a service trip the week of May 18-23, or to organize our own group if there is enough interest.
The cost is $180 per person for the week, which includes dormitory lodging and food. Scholarships are available for those who need financial assistance.
