We stand poised for new beginnings not just as a nation but as a people of faith. We are the folks, the disciples, called through our words and actions to both show others who we can collectively be and walk with them even as Christ still walks with us into our future. Do not let go of the emotion and hope of these days, may they inspire us to continue becoming the masterpiece in progress (individually and collectively) Desmond Tutu knows us to be. May they help each of us to be one of the people on the stage of this moment that contributes and that someone else may even noticed and be inspired by too.
