Capital Campaign Question-and-Answer Session – Video available

September 24, 2021

Last Sunday, after worship, the Capital Campaign Steering Committee hosted a Q&A session.  This is available on YouTube, just click here.  To see the two-page Feasibility Study Summary click here.

The Capital Campaign Steering Committee would like to invite you to attend one or both of our upcoming Capital Campaign Question-and-Answer Sessions. This will be an opportunity to address any questions you may have about our upcoming Capital Campaign Feasibility Study, and anything else about our path forward in the Capital Campaign planning process.

For both sessions, there will be a brief introduction to bring everyone up to date on the progress of the Capital Campaign planning and the timeline going forward, and then an open time for questions.

  • Sunday, September 19th, in person, immediately after church service (approx. 11:05am) in the sanctuary. We will also include a walk around the property to see: recently completed projects, (some, like waterproofing the basement, while very important, are all but invisible); those in progress (like repairing the front steps); and the numerous possibilities that a capital campaign could make a reality.
  • Tuesday, September 21st, via Zoom, at 6:30pm. We will follow the same format (without the walk-around). To receive a Zoom link for the Tuesday evening, September 21st session click here.

The next step in our planning is to hold a Feasibility Study. We have created a two-page Summary document, which outlines both the opportunities for, and challenges of, stewarding our past, shepherding our present, and strengthening our future; to continue to be the church God calls us to be, and to leave this place better for those who follow. We welcome all questions at these Q&A sessions! If you are unable to attend either of the Q&A sessions – but have any questions – please feel free to contact any member of the Steering Committee.

We hope to see you next Sunday in person after worship, or on Tuesday evening on Zoom for the Q&A Sessions.

Please mark your calendars for a Special Congregational Meeting on Sunday, October 24, 2021, at approximately 11:05 (immediately after worship). This Special Meeting will be both in person and through livestream. We will discuss the results of the Feasibility Study and hold a vote regarding the initiation of a Capital Campaign. Your input and vote are crucial as we come together as a congregation to steward our past, shepherd our present, and strengthen our future.
