care for creation
What’s happening?

You are invited to come and be part of a wonderful weekend of faith, learning, caring and focusing on the call to each of us to nurture God’s creation, including all who call it home.
The weekend will kick off with a local and largely organic vegetarian community supper on Friday, July 29th.  We will gather for registration, snacks and introductions at 5:30 with the meal slated for 6:15 p.m.
Saturday will include some light breakfast put out at 8:30 a.m. and a program going from 9:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m.
Sunday we will incorporate what we have done into worship at 10:00.
Who is invited?
All ages from zero to 100 and beyond are welcome and invited to participate in this important weekend.  As a welcoming church, this event is provided to our church family and the larger community including other churches as well as people with all or no faith backgrounds.
Why is your involvement so important?
It is never too early or too late to start taking care of creation. If we are to enlarge our church mission and vision as stewards of and for God’s earth and its people, we need to work together. In addition, it’s expected that everyone involved will have a fabulous and meaningful time.
Please be aware that the weekend will include the following:
Fun, faith, food, songs, gatherings, family, friends, crafts, outdoors, hikes, serving and helping the community, fun, games, circle time, lessons, discussions, trees, water, weather, stewardship, caring, loving, joyful, determination, sharing, prayers, music, projects and so much more.

Event times:
Friday 5:30-7:30pm
Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm
