Berkshire Lyric Christmas Concert, Dec. 17 at 3pm

December 12, 2017

On Sunday Dec. 17 at 3:00, the Berkshire Lyric presents “A Family Christmas” at the Stockbridge Congregational Church. This concert of lighter popular Christmas classics will be an expanded version of the perennially sold out concerts that Berkshire Lyric has presented for many years earlier in December, in the same location, as part of the Norman Rockwell Main Street Christmas weekend.
Music will include choral arrangements of such holiday classics as “Sleigh Ride,” “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “Silver Bells,” “Let it Snow,” “Mary, Did You Know?” and “The Christmas Song.”
The featured soloists are tenor Steve Hassmer and bass John Demler, both well known to Berkshire audiences in a range of music. Lyric’s own 40 voice Blafield Children’s Chorus will be front and center spreading musical cheer, along with Lyric’s elite high school women’s ensemble, Melodious Accord.
Tickets are $20.00 per person.
