Easter

Easter

Easter is a day of joy and a reminder of the resilience and power of God and life.  We have designed two services for Easter that are designed for these times to be safe and celebratory.  We need you to register so click below on the appropriate link.

The first at 9:00 a.m. is for children and their families.  Given the projected temperatures in the 30’s for nine o clock, we plan to move the short (35-40 minute) service indoors.  It will be a delightful time with music, stories, a kid’s time, and an interactive activity, followed by a chance to plant some seeds in a pot to take home.  All of it will be crafted to tell the amazing Easter story to our children.  We will be assigning pews that are spaced approximately 10 feet apart.  Masks will be required.  We will warm the room up and then open windows to allow for good ventilation.

The second at 11:00 a.m. will be outside and similar to services we have done in the past.  We will stream this service so that all can come!  The service will feature amazing music including trumpet, our bell choir, piano and vocalist.  There will be familiar hymns, the Easter Sermon, a liturgy of remembrance as we flower the cross, and the joy of being together.  Masks will be required and colorful pinwheels and butterflies will give us a roadmap to space safely on the lawn.  We will bring life and beauty to the cross by remembering those who are on our hearts and minds and who have gone before us.  You may either bring a stem/branch from home in memory or let us know on your registration that you would like us to have a flower for you.  On the registration form is also a field to enter name(s) of those you are remembering.

More information coming soon!
