Star of the Show- The Capital Campaign Kickoff Event was a resounding success.  It was well-attended by about seventy members and friends, as well as by many more who were there in spirit.  One of the main reveals (remember that I promised surprises?) was learning, through a clever interactive game, the total amount raised by the campaign in Advance Gifts. As of May 1, that number was $543,826, or 64% of our $850,000 goal.  A giving thermometer sketched by Terry Wise was also unveiled.  Perhaps the best surprise and Star of the Show was… a video.  If you haven’t already been seen it, find it on our church website anytime (stockbridgeucc.org), or click now on this YouTube link.
