Dear Church Family, This Sunday is Pentecost!  Even under any normal circumstances, Pentecost would not be an ordinary service.  This Sunday we gather in a time when our world and the life of our church is nowhere close to ordinary. Our world is full of so many and often conflicting emotions - the beauty of summer finally arriving in the Berkshires and all that will mean along with the discord in our politics and culture and all the fear of what that might mean.  Here at the church we are living into the joy of summer too with all of its chances for beauty and connection along with the arrival of our brand-new Minister of Music, Sean Lewis, who will help bring us closer together as we make joyful noises. This Sunday don't forget to put on your party pants (see if you have a red pair). We will be bringing the joy, drama, and life of the Pentecost story boldly and creatively.  Since that story involves the whole church, we need all of you decked out in red.  Since welcoming Sean is a family affair, we need you all to come on home for that too!  We will stick around after worship for a special coffee hour!
