“Waiting for God” Small Group

This six-week conversation will explore Christian spirituality and what it means to love God and neighbor. The group will read and discuss chapters from Waiting for God by Simone Weil, a Christian mystic and political activist. We will focus on such topics as spirituality and mysticism, suffering, love, justice, beauty, and creation. It is our hope that this can be a reflective space in which we can have intimate conversations about the struggles and joys of being Christian.
