Exploring the Parables of Jesus

Every Other Thursday 6:00 – 7:00 PM, in person at The First Congregational Church.

We’ll study and discuss some of our old favorites as well as some of the thorny and head-scratching parables. Each session will stand alone and there is no sign up. It should be fun; hope you will come! September 11 & 25, October 9, & 23, November 6 & 20
Reading assignments:
Session 1, September 11: The Parable of the Sower (sometimes called the Parable of the Soils) is a parable of Jesus found in Matthew 13:1–23, Mark 4:1–20, Luke 8:4–15.
Session 2, September 25: The Parable of the Laborers in the Vineyard is a parable of Jesus found in Matthew 20: 1-16.
