Dinner & A Movie: King David

This summer enjoy a romp through some of the Bible’s major figures and stories, Hollywood style. A pizza dinner will be provided. Please feel free to bring a side dish or dessert to share.
This week’s selection is King David, starring Richard Gere in a (surprisingly) excellent portrayal of David, with Alice Krige as Bathsheba. (1985, rated PG-13). Your mission (should you choose to accept it) is to read 1 and 2 Samuel beforehand.
