This is the fourth summer that this chorus has collaborated with Berkshire County churches to raise funds and awareness for local missions.

This summer chorus of outstanding young singers from the Berkshires is led by our church member and Berkshire Lyric’s artistic director Jack Brown. He is also on the faculty of Simon’s Rock College and The Hotchkiss School. In addition to Ubi Caritas, Berkshire Lyric includes the 90 voice Berkshire Lyric Chorus and the Blafield Children’s Chorus for local young singers ages 6-14. Berkshire Lyric celebrated its 53rd Season this past May with an opera concert at The Colonial Theater in Pittsfield and will end next season with a return to Tanglewood’s Seiji Ozawa Hall in May 2016. The programs of Berkshire Lyric are supported in part by grants from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, including the local councils of Northern Berkshire, Pittsfield and Stockbridge.
