The Deacons assist will all aspects of Sunday worship, including set-up, breakdown, provision of supplies, liturgy, ushering and welcoming congregants. Deacons are also involved in all aspects of special worship, such as Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Holy Week. Deacons facilitate involvement of the congregation in various ministries, such as visiting shut-ins, helping with meal-train, card ministry-or other events in the life of the congregation.
