Joseph Firecrow concert
The Prayer Shawl Ministry–begun a year ago, has distributed 20 shawls. The next meeting is Monday, Nov 14 at 10:00am.
We are co-sponsors with the Unitarian Universalist Meeting of South Berkshires of the Human Rights Speakers Series, which takes place at Hevreh in Great Barrington. A number of us attended the talk in October on the Mexican Immigrant situation. The next talk will be on Thursday, December 1st at 7 pm –”The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict–A Holistic Approach to Peace” by Professor Yehezkel Landau, who currently teaches at the Hartford Seminary and lectures internationally on issues of religion, politics and Middle East peacemaking. These sessions are always informative and well attended.
