Professional Accomplishments
Toured the US, Barcelona, and South Africa as a concert pianist and artist-in-residence, including the Dame Myra Hess Concert Series in Chicago. Composer and Librettist of Angel of the Amazon, which ran Off-Broadway in May 2011 and a two-week run in Boston in October 2011. Composer of Pinocchio, a new ballet which was premiered by the Charleston Ballet in Spring 2011. Published by Hal Leonard for Langston Hughes’ Dream of Freedom. The 2011 WV ACDA Honors Commissioned Composer for Of Fire and Form. Selection winner of NACUSA, SCI, ASCAP, and Jueventas New Music Ensemble for America Groove. The 2009 Joan C Edwards Distinguished Professor at Marshall University, giving lessons, master classes, and recitals at Marshall University
